The product is derived from used cooking oil recovered by Pines Green from restaurants and food service operations, then processed at the group's Athens, Texas facility. Feedstock, production, and delivery all stay under the group's control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Many diesel engines, particularly those manufactured before 2007, can run on biodiesel blends with little or no modification. Equipment manufactured more recently may have compatibility considerations. Check your equipment manufacturer documentation and contact us to discuss your specific situation before purchasing.
B100 is pure biodiesel with no petroleum diesel blended in. A B20 blend is 20 percent biodiesel and 80 percent petroleum diesel. Different blends perform differently across temperatures and equipment types. We will recommend a ratio for your operation.
Biodiesel has a higher cloud point than petroleum diesel, meaning it can begin to gel at lower temperatures. In Texas winters this is generally manageable, particularly with blended product.
