Pines Holdings

Pines Holdings manages long-term investments and ownership interests within the energy and industrial sectors, including the group's own operating companies.

Ownership With a
Long Time Horizon

Pines Holdings is the ownership arm of Pines Energy Group LLC. It holds the group's interests in its operating divisions and evaluates additional investments and acquisitions in the energy and industrial sectors.

The approach is straightforward. We look for businesses with real assets, real customers, and an operating history we can verify. We are not running a fund with a fixed exit window, and we do not need to sell a business on a schedule to return capital.

Most of what we look at comes from operators, brokers, and owners we already deal with in fuel, recycling, and industrial services. If you are an owner considering a sale or a partner considering an investment, the conversation is private and there is no obligation on either side.

Pines Holdings does not offer securities to the public, manage outside capital, or provide investment advice. Discussions are conducted privately and directly with the parties involved.

Areas of Activity

Six areas define the division's work. Each is evaluated against the same standard: whether the business will still be worth owning in ten years.

01

Business Acquisitions

Purchase of operating companies in fuel distribution, recycling, transportation, and industrial services. We look at businesses with established customers, functioning operations, and an owner who wants a clean transition rather than a drawn out process.

02

Strategic Investments

Minority positions in businesses that complement the group's existing operations, particularly where the relationship improves supply, distribution, or service coverage for more than one division.

03

Private Holdings

Ownership interests held privately and directly. Holdings are not packaged, syndicated, or offered to outside investors, and the division does not manage third-party capital.

04

Long-Term Ownership

Businesses are acquired to be held and operated, not turned. Management teams that want to stay generally do, and existing customer relationships and employees are treated as part of what was purchased.

05

Growth Opportunities

Capital directed toward equipment, facilities, routes, and staffing within businesses the group already owns. Reinvestment in a working operation is generally lower risk than buying a new one.

06

Future Expansion

Evaluation of adjacent markets and geographies where the group's existing operations give it a reason to be there. Expansion is paced against operating capacity rather than a growth target.

How We Evaluate
an Opportunity

We review a limited number of opportunities at a time and give each a direct answer. If something is not a fit, we say so early rather than leaving an owner waiting.

Submit an Opportunity
01

Operating History

An established record of revenue and customers. We are not the right party for concepts, pre-revenue ventures, or turnarounds that depend on a market shift.

02

Sector Fit

Energy, fuel distribution, recycling, transportation, and industrial services. Sectors where the group already understands the work and the customers.

03

Tangible Assets

Equipment, vehicles, tanks, facilities, routes, and contracts. Assets that can be inspected and valued rather than projected.

04

Management Continuity

A team that can keep running the business, or an owner willing to stay through a defined transition period.

05

Clean Structure

Clear ownership, current filings, and books that reconcile. Complicated capital structures and unresolved liabilities slow everything down.

06

Reasonable Terms

A price supported by the assets and the earnings. We would rather pass on a deal than stretch to win it.

Nothing on this page is a projection, a guarantee of return, or an offer to buy or sell any security or interest. Any transaction would be negotiated directly and documented between the parties.
