and Fuel Production
Pines USA holds the operating side of the group's energy business. It covers upstream and midstream interests in oil and gas, the fuel products the group supplies to commercial buyers, the services that support those customers, and the biodiesel we produce ourselves.
Biodiesel is one business line inside Pines USA. It is a production operation with its own feedstock supply, processing equipment, quality control, and buyer base. It is not the whole of what this division does.
Buyers who need product sourced rather than produced work through Pines Fuel Brokerage. The two divisions coordinate so a single customer can cover both refined product supply and biodiesel from one relationship.

What Pines USA Operates
Five areas of activity, run under one division so a customer dealing with more than one of them keeps the same point of contact.
Oil and Gas
Interests and activity in conventional oil and gas, including working relationships with operators, mineral and leasehold positions, and participation in projects that fit the division's scope. Opportunities are evaluated on reserves, operator quality, and hold period rather than headline production numbers.
Fuel Products
Diesel, off-road diesel, gasoline, DEF, and biodiesel blends supplied to commercial accounts. Product is delivered from terminal supply, from the group's own production, or from a combination of both depending on volume and location.
Energy Services
Support work around fuel supply: tank placement and monitoring, delivery scheduling, volume tracking, blend specification for seasonal conditions, and coordination with carriers on multi-site accounts.
Commercial Fuel Markets
Sales into agriculture, construction, transportation, manufacturing, and oilfield services. Terms range from single loads to annual supply agreements with defined volumes and pricing mechanics.
Biodiesel Production
Commercial production of biodiesel from used cooking oil at the Athens facility, covering feedstock intake, processing, quality control, and delivery to buyers. Details are below.
Renewable Fuel Supply
Supply of B100 and biodiesel blends to agricultural, industrial, and fleet buyers. Blend ratio is set against the equipment, the season, and the storage conditions at the delivery point.
Biodiesel Production
The Athens facility takes in used cooking oil, processes it, tests it, and delivers finished fuel. Feedstock is recovered by Pines Green from restaurants and food service operations, which keeps the input supply under the group's own control.
Collection
Used cooking oil is collected on scheduled routes from restaurants, commercial kitchens, schools, and food service operations, then transported to the Athens facility.
Processing
Incoming oil is filtered to remove food solids and water, then converted through transesterification. Glycerin is separated and the product is washed and dried.
Quality Control
Batches are checked for conversion, water content, and residual contaminants before release. Records are held per batch and provided to buyers on request.
Supply
Finished product is delivered as B100 or blended to the buyer's specification, on a set schedule or per load, with volumes documented on each delivery.
Feedstock and Intake
Used cooking oil arrives from Pines Green collection routes and from direct drop-off by qualified suppliers. Each load is inspected at intake for water content and contamination before it enters storage, and material that does not meet intake criteria is rejected rather than blended in.
Controlling the feedstock side matters more than most buyers realize. Consistent input is what makes consistent output possible, and it is the reason the group runs its own collection operation instead of buying feedstock on the open market alone.
Quality and Documentation
Batch records cover intake source, processing date, test results, and release status. Buyers running biodiesel in newer equipment, in cold conditions, or under a warranty requirement can request that documentation before purchase.
We will also tell you where biodiesel is not the right fit. Cold weather handling, storage age, and certain engine platforms all carry real constraints, and we would rather set the blend correctly than sell you a problem.
